Candidates will provide medical transcription services to large acute care hospitals and other facilities that are clients of Transcend Services, Inc. For Tu-Sa or Su-Th, you choose your hours.

Acute care MLS are needed to work on accounts that use our state-of-the-art voice-recognition platform (BeyondTXT). Candidates working on these accounts will be editing draft reports created by a computer, and doing regular transcription at times.

Part-time positions require a minimum of 20 hours/week with at least 8 hours working on a weekend. Applicants must have 5+ years of current work experience providing medical transcription services for acute care facilities with over 100 beds and must have worked with at least 50 dictators.

In addition to a highly competitive line rate (65 characters including spacebar) and direct deposit, we offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, company-matched 401K, long and short term disability, and 10 days per year PTO accrual at $12/hr for FT status only. PTO and benefits begin AFTER 120 days of employment.

Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years recent full-time work experience doing medical transcription for acute care facilities with 100 or more beds.
• Strong recent background in operative notes is strongly preferred
• Experience with the 4 major work types is preferred
• Ability to reach and maintain a 98% accuracy
• Experience working with English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) dictators is preferred
• Candidates MUST have access to high-speed Internet (DSL, cable modem, wireless, or satellite) service.
• Must be able to work immediately in the US
